Terence J. Houlihan

Terence Houlihan, M.S. Ed., CRS, has been an educator since 1995, helping familes and students in high schools and higher education institutions in NYC and Westchester and Fairfield Counties. He is an adjunct lecturer for the graduate program in school counseling at Fairfield University in CT and lectured in the organizationa leadership and counselor education programs at the City University of New York, Lehman College, where he was awarded LUTE Instructor of the Year for 2019. He has been an adjunct instructor at the College of New Rochelle and Westchester Community College. Terence is a Google-Certified Educator, licensed school counselor and director of a school-wide counseling program in Fairfield County and was a Certified Relationship Specialist through the American Psychotherapy Association.  He has written blogposts, articles and textbook chapters for the National Association of School Superintendents, the American School Counselor Association, the National Association of College Admissions Counseling, the Westchester Business Journal and Today's Catholic Teacher. Terence has presented to audiences across the United States and other countries on strengthening relationships and brain-based interventions in the classroom, family room and the boardroom....and he's the parent of an adult who made it through his teen years.
